Seminar series for empowering Cypriot small and medium-scale food producers
Introduction:
The Cyprus Food and Nutrition Museum announces seminars for small and medium food enterprises, which cover the following topics:
• quality and product certification • health and safety procedures • entrepreneurship development • networking, marketing, branding • funding
The seminars will be delivered by qualified speakers of high-expertise and experience on the various topics -from academic institutions, universities, companies, food enterprises, government agencies- and are willing to provide practical advice on the development of food producing enterprises.
These two-day seminars (Friday afternoon-evening and Saturday morning-noon) will take place from 27.1-17- 18.3.17 at the following locations: Anogyra, Akaki, Galata, Athienou, Kyperounta, Neapolis University (co-organization), Cyprus University of Technology (co-organization), and Odou village.
Each two-day seminar is independent, therefore, all interested applicants may choose to attend any, and more than one, of the eight scheduled seminars.
The seminars are open to the public and participation is free.
The organizing of the seminars is co-funded by the US State Department, through the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) and the Erasmus+ KA2 Action, namely the «International cooperation - the guarantee of development of local products» programme. The action is also supported by local authorities, academic institutions, universities, companies, food enterprises and government bodies.
